Carl ‘Houdini Morris is to perform a charity pool exhibition in aid of the Special Care Baby Unit, James Paget Hospital at Spencers Sportsbar, Great Yarmouth on Saturday July 23rd.
Ten years after ‘Houdini’ last performed an exhibition, Carl’s comeback had to be held somewhere special – and for a special reason.
So when Spencers Sportsbar approached Carl for an exhibition in aid of the special care baby unit at James Paget Hospital – explaining the reason behind the fundraising event, there was no doubt that ‘Houdini’ would jump at the chance.
Spencer Jones, owner of the club said; “We wanted to do a fundraiser for the Special Care Baby Unit James Paget Hospital in Great Yarmouth in recognition of the fantastic work they do”
“Our daughter Ivy was stillborn and we suffered a complete numbness of pain at the loss of Ivy, but we have nothing but praise for the hospital and its doctors and nurses who have been nothing short of incredible in their support for us and others.“
“So when we wanted to do a fundraiser for them, there was only one person we considered.“
“Carl has attended a number of exhibitions at Spencers Sportsbar over the years and has always provided exceptional evenings of entertainment so there was no doubt he was the only choice for us all.“
“We all very much look forward to his return.“
– Spencer Jones, Owner of Spencers Sportsbar
