Inspirational Speaking
Truly Captivating Experience
An excellent talk, presented in a professional and engaging manner. Carl really got down to what matters – what it’s like not to be understood to the joy of that breakthrough moment.

Why you should book Carl Morris to speak?
At one stage, it looked an impossible dream…
Life took a devastating turn at the age of three when meningitis left Carl in a coma, profoundly deaf and robbed of the ability to speak. What hope did he ever have of an ordinary life..?
Perseverance, determination and resilience…
Constantly knocked back by society and denied the opportunity to grow, Carl had to find ways to overcome the obstacles that stood in his way. Along with the support of the National Deaf Children’s Society and the backing of his parents, Carl’s confidence grew.
Whilst never giving up hope, Carl’s growing determination to succeed enabled him to overcome his invisible disability to achieve numerous accomplishments including becoming the first deaf person to trek to the North Pole, a World Pool Champion, an actor and an inspirational speaker.
What would Carl speak about..?
Designed to connect emotionally to the audience on several levels through inspiring and empowering stories that Carl ensures is always relatable.
Deafness is a complicated disability that brings with it unseen barriers. Disabilities often not the biggest issue – it is the mind that comprehends the issue and determines how it is dealt with, something we all do in everyday life regardless of the size or type of problem.
A renewed belief that we can all overcome issues, accept the value of ourselves – both to ourselves and to others, to ensure that we continue heading in an upwards trajectory.
When Carl speaks, others do what he cannot do – listen.
